Act 2 Records, Inc. is a new label formed in 2002. The principal of Act 2 is Ron Hirsch. Mr. Hirsch previously owned and operated Acts Records, one of the leading Gospel Labels in the World. His goal in establishing Act 2 Records was to provide an outlet for new talent whereby anyone who has some talent and some ambition can pursue their dreams of stardom. Mr. Hirsch says, Its our job to make Dreams Come True. In essence, the Music Industry has some unique business practices that penalize individuals for pursuing their dreams. Quite often, individuals have to file for bankruptcy because of the practice of indebting the artist to the Label. This is contrary to our basic philosophy.
