The Pride of Dayton Marching Band generates Flyer spirit in performances on campus, regionally, and nationally. As a member of the Pride, UD, Wright State, and Sinclair Community College students can enjoy high performance standards along with the opportunity to meet other students from various major backgrounds and interests. There are no auditions for wind and percussion positions in the Marching Band. As part of the Pride of Dayton's performances, the University of Dayton Flyerettes continue to maintain a tradition of excellence in dancing, and our newly formed color guard will focus on flag routines and marching. Auxiliaries are chosen through auditions held in the spring and during Band Camp in August. Auditions for Feature Twirler are held in the spring.
