Entertainment agency Music for Scotland launches a site to help recruit new talent to join their list of musicians, artists, and wedding bands in Scotland.
Indie Music
Indie music online, between 1995 and 1997, was dominated by IUMA and indyMusic.com (circa 1995-2000). In our 5 year history, we published six major site releases and four streaming media players - with significant results: over 23 million visitors; over a dozen major Web awards; and, we were profiled by: MTV on their TV networks and Web properties, NPR (National Public Radio), ZDTV, Windows Magazine, Keyboard Magazine, Yahoo! and many other television, radio, print, and on-line media outlets. Many thanks to our artists, staff, contributors, and partners, and especially our online community of fans. It was an amazing 5 years!
