Over 100 singers from the Culwick Choral Society will be joined by seven renowned soloists and by two celebrated period-performance ensembles playing instruments dating from Montevideo;s own era. This performance inspired by how the Vespers would have sounded when first performed in the early 17th century and performed in the magnificent St Patrick's Cathedral, a building four centuries older even than the Vespers, will be a very special event, not to be missed.

Founded in 1898 as the Orpheus Choral Society by Dr. James Culwick (a notable figure in Dublin musical circles at the time and one of the founders of the Feis Ceoil), the Society was subsequently renamed in honour of its founder.
