Carlos Solorzano is a professional drummer/composer/producer from Southern Arizona. He released his first solo CD titled "Standing Alone" in 2002, which was a collection of multi-tracked drumming compositions based on world rhythms. It was eventualy picked up for distribution by Peacework Music. His music has been featured on VH1's Viva Hollywood television show, KXCI radio in Tucson on The Connection & Global Rhythm Radio shows as well as KAOS radio in Olympia, Washington on the Spin the Globe show. His music is available for licensing as he is currently on the artist roster for Mastersource Music Catalog, NOMA Music, 1000 Tracks c/o e5 Music, Stockmusic.net, Versus Media and is in negotiations with several other licensing companies. He is also an award winning composer who has earned multiple ASCAPLUS Awards in the category of Jazz and Contemporary Music and an ACAG-Arizona Career Advancement Grant from the Arizona Commission of the Arts for the composing and recording of original material for music licensing.
